NCP (SP) Leader Devdutt Nikam Meets FDA Commissioner Tukaram Munde to Submit Formal Representation
Pune : Pune District President of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar faction), Devdutt Nikam, has demanded the immediate arrest and strict prosecution of the 13 accused who are still absconding in the high-profile Ambegaon milk adulteration case. Meeting with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Tukaram Munde, Nikam handed over an official representation urging the authority to expand the scope of the investigation. He emphasized that the probe must not remain limited to individual adulterators but should uncover the entire supply network. Furthermore, he insisted that dairy projects that accept and process adulterated milk must be thoroughly investigated and held legally accountable alongside the culprits. (Pune Local News)

Devdutt Nikam asserted that milk adulteration extends beyond mere economic fraud, directly endangering public health and well-being. He called for a completely impartial and decisive investigation to ensure that no guilty party escapes justice. Present during the submission of the representation were Ambegaon Taluka President of the Nationalist Youth Congress Vishal Bable, Shankarrao Temgire, and Vishal Bhor.
