Pune : The Principal Dr. Sudhakarrao Jadhavar College of Arts, Commerce and Science, along with the Jadhavar Institute of Management and Technology and the Institute of Nursing, will organize the seventh annual Jadhavar Science Festival. This state-level event is being conducted in collaboration with the Board of Students’ Development at Savitribai Phule Pune University. Adv. Shardul Jadhavar, Vice President of the institute, announced during a press conference that the festival will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM at the Dr. Sudhakarrao Jadhavar Educational Complex-1 in Narhe.

The central theme for this year’s festival is Science and Technology for Society. The competition is structured into four primary categories which include a school group for students in 8th to 10th grade, a junior group for 11th and 12th graders, a senior college group for diploma and undergraduate students, and a final category for postgraduate students and open entries. Students will present innovative projects covering a diverse array of modern topics such as human welfare, environmental sustainability, waste-to-wealth initiatives, disaster management, and advanced engineering. Other presentation areas include artificial intelligence in simulation, automation systems, future smart hospitals, virtual reality in medical diagnosis, green innovation, cyber security, and 3D printing in medicine.

Adv. Shardul Jadhavar stated that this state-level festival is designed as an innovative platform to provide students with a space for their imagination and to foster a deep interest in science. To recognize the efforts of the participants, the organizers have announced total prizes and trophies worth over 1 lakh rupees, and every student participating in the competition will be awarded a certificate of appreciation.
