Pune : Heavy rainfall over the past week has turned agricultural fields in the Rajgad region into waterlogged, muddy swamps. A bizarre incident unfolded due to these conditions in the More Bagh area of Karanjavane village, where a routine farming task turned into a massive community rescue operation.
A local farmer entered his field with a tractor for ploughing work. Within a short distance, the tractor’s wheels sank deep into the sticky black soil, leaving it completely immobilized. Hoping to tow it out, a second tractor was brought in, but it suffered the same fate and got stuck in the mud. In a chaotic chain of events, attempt after attempt failed as one tractor after another ended up trapped, leaving a total of 12 tractors stuck in the marshy field.
Four Hours of Relentless Effort
The sight of 12 stuck tractors caused a stir among the locals. Realizing the scale of the problem, neighboring farmers and villagers joined forces to handle the situation. After nearly four hours of grueling effort and coordination, they successfully pulled out all 12 tractors one by one, bringing immense relief to everyone involved.
The rescue operation succeeded thanks to the timely support of Ajit Shinde, Nilesh Shinde, Amol Pol, Sachin Pangul, Digambar Shinde, Jaydeep Shinde, Mukesh Shinde, Babu Talekar, Abhinath Shinde, Manoj Shinde, Ashok Pawar, Saurabh Talekar, and their fellow villagers.
