Riverdale Students Shine with Gold Medal Haul at DSO School Games

Chatrapati Sambhajinagar : The Riverdale School community is celebrating a spectacular wave of sporting success following the outstanding performance of its students at the recently concluded DSO School Games. Demonstrating exceptional skill and athletic prowess, several “Riverdalians” secured top honors across multiple disciplines, bringing pride to the institution through a series of gold medal victories.

In a landmark achievement for the school’s sports program, Urvija Borade clinched the gold medal in the squash championship. Her dominant performance has earned her a prestigious selection for the School Game National Level Squash Championship, where she will represent the region on a grander stage.

The success continued in the DSO Drop Roball matches, where Riverdale athletes swept the competition to secure multiple gold medals and confirm their advancement to the division-level matches. In the Under-19 boys’ singles category, Omprakash Lad displayed remarkable form to claim the gold medal. The Under-17 team followed suit with an incredible collective performance, resulting in a gold medal streak for teammates Aachal Kute, Yuvraj Wankhede, Danish Khan, Ronit Sutar, Arnav Maske, Falguni Kakde, Sharayu Lokhande, Gahina Ghodele, and Shambhavi Wakle.

The school administration expressed immense pride in these young athletes, noting that their hard work and dedication have set a high standard for excellence in the school’s sporting history.
